Ford Performance Resonator Delete X-Pipe Stainless Steel Mustang GT 2015-2024/ Dark Horse 2024

Ford definitely through performance enthusiasts quite a few curveballs when it came to the exhaust system of the 2015 Mustang. One being the catalytic converter being built under the driver’s side exhaust manifold, the other the resonator shown here. This seems to have been called quite a few unflattering names on the internet, but basically it’s a restriction and it’s heavy. Ford Racing even realized that most performance enthusiasts wouldn’t be a fan of this design and came up with a very easy way to delete it.

This is the Ford Racing Resonator Delete X-pipe designed for your 2015 Mustang GT. This is true X-pipe made of stainless steel and it’s a direct replacement for the factory resonator. You simply remove the clamps at the front where it connect to the headers and cut the back as shown in the instructions. Remove your heave resonator and replace it with this. Ford Racing includes a resonator X-pipe itself, as well as two True-Seal clamps for installation.

The True X-pipe design is obviously going to make more power than a heavy resonator. It’s also going to give you a much nicer exhaust tone than the factory exhaust. As a bonus we mentioned weight. The factory pipe comes in at 23 pounds, this piece here only 8 pounds, saving you 15 pounds off your 2015 Mustang.
