For all engines, it’s possible for large amounts of oil in vapor form to gather in your F-150 or F-150 Raptor’s intake tube. This will happen during the process of venting crankcase pressure back through your 2011-2014 Ford truck’s intake track. This oil vapor can even accumulate in the intake manifold runners and dilute your gas, which lowers the octane level. This problem can be even worse in supercharged or turbocharged (forced inducted) vehicles with increased crankcase pressures. This oil separator kit is a rock solid, billet aluminum piece that was created to collect fine vapors and place them into the removable bottom, while also allowing clean air to go through the intake. The knurled tank base is easily removable so you can drain the spent oil. The O-ring seal won’t allow for any leaks. A fine, mesh, stainless steel filter screen traps those oil vapors and lets them go when they are heavy enough to fall. When passing through the 1/2” thick 1/16” aluminum honeycomb filter, these fine oil vapors become larger and fall to the bottom. Once the oil has gone through the filter, it has become too heavy to go into the intake. This oil separator kit will only hold 3 ounces of oil, but the PVC system won’t be producing a lot of oil in the first place.

Tech Tip: Drain this system every 2000-3000 miles to ensure that you never come close to filling it.
