The Gas-A-Just shock features a monotube design, as well as a special air-free hydraulic to eliminate any performance fade that may otherwise develop due to aeration.

In addition to the air-free hydraulic piston chamber, the Gas-A-Just has a second high-pressure nitrogen gas area with a floating piston to provide noticeably superior comfort and performance. The two chambers separate the nitrogen gas from the hydraulic fluid to avoid foaming and to provide reliable damping in all conditions. This shock automatically responds and adjusts to driver input, outperforming the average twin-tube shock design.
