Tools Required:
- Phillips Head Screw Driver
- Small Allen Wrench
Install Difficulty:
- Easy Project
1. To begin installing your new Mustang Scott Drake C7ZZ-10838-B Brushed Aluminum Instrument Bezel, remove the original instrument cluster assembly. To do this, remove three screws across the top and two at the bottom. Then, remove the two plugs from the under dash wiring harness and the speedometer cable.

2. Turn the Mustang instrument panel over and remove the black screws along the perimeter. Then, remove the windshield wiper switch assembly. The handle on the front has a small Allen wrench retainer screw.

3. Pull the back plate with the gauges away from the original bezel.

4. Unpack the new bezel and the Mustang dash bezel lens kit. Install the new lenses in the new bezel.

5. Remove the retainer rings from the original bezel lenses and use them to secure the new lenses to the new Scott Drake bezel.

6. If you plan on rolling back your odometer’s mileage to all zeros, this is the perfect time. The mileage indicator wheels are on a spindle that is kept in place with a clip. Carefully remove the clip and dial the wheels back to zero.

7. Reinstall the spindle and clip.

8. Carefully place the back plate for the gauges onto the new bezel and secure it with screws around the perimeter. Then, reinstall or replace the windshield wiper switch and handle.

9. Here are before and after shots of the Mustang instrument panel for comparison.

10. Reinstall the instrument cluster. If your screws are in poor condition, like mine, the Mustang instrument bezel screw kit may be helpful.

11. After those screws are installed, you will have completed the installation of your new Mustang Scott Drake Brushed Aluminum Instrument Bezel!
