Old Air Products Hurricane Complete Electric A/C System with a Driver-Side Compressor for 1973-1979 Ford F-100s with 289 or 302 Engines with a 3-Groove Crank Pulley, A/C Cab, and an Aux Fuel Tank.

The Hurricane A/C, Heat & Defrost System is easy to install. The unit mounts to the firewall with a custom mounting plate using the original mounting holes. Heater & A/C hoses pass neatly through the firewall, through a rubber grommet, and into the engine compartment.
An all-new electronic slide control fits into the original dash opening to operate the fan, A/C, Heat, and Defrost Functions. Adapters connect the factory louvers to the Hurricane unit for an original appearance. A custom condenser assembly includes mounting brackets, a receiver/drier, and pre-formed aluminum lines to pass neatly through the core support.
The included compressor has a Plain finish. The A/C hose kit supplied may be pre-crimped or universal depending on engine application. The universal hose kit will require fitting and crimping hoses to complete the installation.

Please Note:
- On 289/302 engines, will fit passenger side lower radiator hose connection (P/Ns: CAP7479A1 and CAP7479A2).
- The compressor will mount on the driver side of the engine.
- This unit is designed to fit truck cabs with factory air conditioning and with an auxiliary fuel tank switch.
- This part is non-returnable.
