This Pitman Arm is engineered for your 1948-1952 F-100. The pitman arm is connected to your steering box via a splined shaft. The other end features a ball knuckle that connects to your drag link which steers your classic pickup.

The ball on the end of this arm allows the drag link to swivel around to allow the suspension to travel freely without affecting your steering. The splined end allows for adjustment if needed. This is in case your pickup's steering wheel doesn¹t line up straight when your truck is traveling straight down the road.
