CJ Classics Premium Performance Chassis Stiffening Kit Mustang Coupe/ Fastback 1969-1970

These Chassis Stiffening Kits will reinforce your 1969-1970 Mustang for performance use. From the factory, the chassis of your Mustang isn't prepped to work well on modern roads. These kits include an export brace, Monte Carlo bar, and subframe connectors in order to further reinforce your Mustang.

An adjustable export brace will reinforce your shock towers, preventing stress cracks and retaining proper wheel alignment in the corners. These kits improve front-end stability. A Monte Carlo bar is also included, to support the export brace. All hardware required for installation is also provided in this kit.

In addition, Bolt-On Style Subframe Connectors help to tie the front and rear of your Mustang together. They work like an additional frame rail, either bolting into place for easy installation, or they can be welded for a sturdier and more permanent solution. Each connector has a black powder-coated finish, and you'll get two of these connectors with your order plus the hardware you'll need to install them.

Subframe connectors can prevent your Mustang’s chassis from twisting off the line.

Tech Tip: The curved design of this Monte Carlo bar allows for extra clearance for oval air cleaners and aftermarket distributors.

Please Note: The lower holes on the export brace will use the existing hardware to mount the outer shock tower cover.
