CJ Classics Premium Performance Chassis Stiffening Kit Mustang Convertible 1969-1970

The chassis of vintage Mustangs are not known for their rigidity. This looseness can lead to all sorts of handling problems. This Complete Performance Chassis Stiffening Kit provides all the required parts for improved stability in the corners, and less flex off the line.

An adjustable export brace provides the perfect fit, while stiffening up your Mustang's shock towers. This prevents changes to steering geometry when pushing hard into the corners. A Monte Carlo Bar is also included, invented by Carroll Shelby to further prevent shock tower flex. All hardware is included for installation.

Going one step further, a pair of Bolt-On Style Subframe Connectors will tie the front and rear of your Mustang together. While convertibles did come with some extra reinforcement to compensate for the lack of roof structure, it's not enough for performance use. Designed for a bolt-on installation, these subframe connectors can also be welded in for a more permanent solution.

Please Note:
- Requires minor modification of the lower reinforcement pan.
- The lower holes on the export brace will use the existing hardware to mount the outer shock tower cover.
