Step 1: Unhook Rear Window Trim

In the cabin at the base of the rear driver's side window, use either your hands or a panel removal tool to unhook the side panel clips. No need to remove it completely. Unclipping the front is enough.

Repeat this process for the passenger's side panel.

Step 2: Pull Back Headliner

Your S550 Mustang's headliner is held in place by both clips and magnets. To pull back the headliner, simply push your hand underneath to locate the clips.

Undo the clips and gently pull down on the headliner to release the magnets. Pull the headliner down enough to where you can access the roof above it.

Step 3: Detach Antenna

On the roof of your Mustang, unclip the antenna wire from the harness and pop out the plug holding the wire to the roof.

Unscrew the 10 mm bolt at the base of the antenna to release it. Once the antenna is free, push the housing and wire through the top.
