Ridetech's Front HQ Series Coilovers are great for someone looking for to increase performance on their 1967-1970 Mustang while using the factory control arms. HQ (Handling Quality) shocks are a step up from the RQ (Ride Quality) shocks. This is for the Mustang owners that want some adjustability on their suspension. HQ shocks feature a different internal design as well as a knob with 26 clicks for you to adjust between a soft or firm ride. Pair this set of front coilovers with the same series rear coilovers to gain full control over your Mustang.

- Single adjustable monotube shock
- Anodized finished
- Proper spring rate
- High quality 2-1/2" springs
- CNC machined billet hardware

Monotube construction offers superior fade free performance and great ride quality. An impact forged aluminum body with an anodized finish provides superior strength and reliable service. A 5/8" chrome shock shaft moves a 1.834" piston that dampens suspension travel. Oil leakage is eliminated by use of a double sealed rod guide with a dust cover. The height adjuster uses a unique clamp and finer thread for easy adjustment. There is no set screw to ruin threads on the shock body. Includes 1/2" bore x 1" kevlar lined bearings for noise free operation and CNC machined billet hardware.

Ridetech uses high quality 2-1/2" coil springs made right in Indiana by HyperCo. HyperCo uses CNC'd cold wound high tensile premium steel. This lessens weight, resists bowing and increases travel. Ridetech engineers the spring rates to help your car handle to the best of its abilities.

*Requires factory control arms for mounting.
*The control arms can still be used with Ridetech StrongArms if you would like to upgrade your control arms at a later time.

Equip your muscle car with some of the best aftermarket suspension components available. Ridetech handles the research and development, CAD drawings, prototyping, CNC machining, CNC tube bending, jig welding, shock assembly and dynoing, air spring crimping and burst testing, and final assembly all within their facility. You can be rest assured that every Ridetech component has been thoroughly tested before being released to the market.
