Ridetech StreetGrip Suspension System for 1963, 1964, 1965, 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969 and 1970 Chevrolet C10s with a Big Block Engine.

This Suspension System upgrades the ride and handling qualities in your Chevy while also improving the stance with a lowered ride height. Ridetech has developed C10 specific dual rate coil springs and monotube shock absorbers for this kit. This suspension system is heavily tested on the streets and the racetrack to ensure the perfect suspension kit for your classic C10.

The StreetGrip Front Coil Springs are CNC cold-wound from high tensile steel. Once the front coil springs are made, they are powder coated to ensure longevity. The front springs feature a linear spring rate, which provides excellent handling and ride quality. The drop spindles will lower the front of your C10 2-1/2”. The spindles are precision cast from premium-quality ductile iron with 4140 chrom-moly machined pins. The soft spring rate section of the dual-rate rear springs help your truck transition over small road bumps. Once the springs compress further they transition to the firmer spring rate to better support the heavier load.

The Delrin control arm bushings are designed to be used with OEM control arms. The bushings will eliminate metal-to-metal contact as well as the squeaky noise from the original rubber bushings. The beefy 1.25” end link style sway bar eliminates the bind, corrects the geometry and reduces body roll. The sway bar frame bushings are made from polyurethane and remove friction to allow the sway bar to move freely.

The Panhard bar features full length adjustability with 2” lowering blocks. This bar mounts into the lowering blocks allowing the use of a longer bar to correct the bar geometry and minimize lateral axle movement. This also lowers the roll center, reducing body roll. The Panhard bar includes heavy-duty Kevlar lined heim ends that allow the axle to be centered at the lowered stance.

The C-Notch kit is an industry exclusive part that installs inside the frame rail and can be installed without bed removal or modification. The C-Notch kit is a bolt-on unity that is fully boxed and adds strength to the rear frame. The shocks in this kit feature a monotube design with the adjustability to decide how soft or firm you want your ride to feel. The adjustability of the shocks allows you to adjust the suspension for a softer ride, or a more firm and sporty handling suspension. With the monotube design, the shock uses a single-cylinder where the fluid and pressurized gas are kept separate. This reduces the chance of cavitation, which can greatly impact handling performance.
