This kit adds pressurized struts to your tailgate that reduce the pressure of the tailgate, ensuring it slowly comes to rest whenever you pull the tailgate’s latch. When installed, you never have to worry about the tailgate suddenly falling and slamming down suddenly. Installation is as simple as unbolting existing hardware on your tailgate and attaching the included A1018 steel plate brackets and struts.
