If you've been following our YouTube channel, you'll see we've done a ton of Rugged Ridge LED upgrades to our 2016 Jeep Wrangler. It still has the factory exhaust, and it's time for it to go. Today, we're going to make our Jeep breathe and sound better by installing this Rugged Ridge Black Axle-Back Exhaust. This Rugged Ridge axle-back exhaust is made of mandrel-bent and black powder- coated tubing, with a high flow dual and muffler, and 4" tips. It comes with everything you need for an easy installation, and it's going to help our Jeep sound and breathe better. Today, we're going to install it on our 2016 Jeep Wrangler. This axle-back exhaust is going to be super easy to install. There's only one 15mm nut holding it on.

Then you just have to remove the muffler from the two rubber hangers. Remove the 15 millimeter nut on the exhaust clamp. Now, we're going to remove this bracket from the rubber hanger on the Jeep. Now, we can move to the other hanger. Once both hangers are disconnected, grab on to the muffler and twist it to break it loose from the pipe, then you can pull it off. With the factory exhaust out of the way, the first thing we're going to do is put the provided clamp over the over axle pipe. We removed both hangers from the Jeep. Now, we're going to install the hangers on the muffler, then install it on the Jeep. WD-40 will help out when removing and installing these hangers. Now, we're going to install this into the over axle pipe, then install the hangers.

Get this hanger installed. Then you can tighten the clamp. Remove the nut from the bolt, and pull the bolt out of the clamp. Spread it apart so you can slide it over the inlet pipe. Then tighten it with a 12mm wrench and a 13mm socket. You're installation's finished. Let's hear it. Our Rugged Ridge axle-back exhaust is installed. It looks so good. I love the blacked out look. It gives our Jeep a nice tone, too, but it's not too loud. Installation will take you about 45 minutes. Before you know it, you'll be heading off-road.
