For use with late model 1965 Mustangs and all 1966 models, these door hinge mounting plates are reproductions of the steel plates that mount to the A-pillar to mount the door hinges. Over the years the bolts can break off in the original plates or the plates can become lost altogether. These top quality replacements from Scott Drake are the perfect solution to damaged or missing plates. They even come finished in black paint to help protect against corrosion! Each of the plates come pre-drilled and tapped for 5/16” x 18 hardware. New hardware can be obtained through CJs part number HW3184.

*One kit will do one door.

Please Note: 1964 and early 1965 cars use larger 3/8" x 16 bolts. These plates can be drilled and tapped for the 3/8" x 16 bolts if using original bolts is desired on early production cars. These plates can be used on early cars as long as you use the later 5/16” x 18 bolts.
