We're here with our Supreme Suspension and Steering Kit for '65 thorough '66 V8 Mustangs with manual steering. We offer similar kits for all '65 through '73 Mustangs, covering six-cylinder small block, big block, as well as manual and power steering options. Our kits include everything to replace the wear parts in your steering and suspension, including coil springs, coil spring insulators, upper control arms, inner and outer tie rods, lower control arms, coil spring saddles, idler arm, strut rod bushing kit, shock tower bumpers, and a one inch sway bar kit, complete with bushings and end links.

This '65 Mustang being restored by CJ Pony Service has our steering and suspension kit already installed. We put it up on the rotisserie to give you a better idea of where the components go.

The coil spring insulator goes between the top of your coil spring and the top of the shock tower. The saddle attaches the spring to your upper control arm. The upper is attached to the chassis and then attached to your lower control arm via your spindle. Your strut rod is going to go from your lower control arm out to your strut rod bracket with the bushing mounted on the end piece here. Your sway bar attaches to your lower control arm and then also attaches to your chassis.

The kit includes greasable outer and inner tie rod ends, as well as a new idler arm assembly. Our steering and suspension kit is a great way freshen your warn out suspension. With the exception of the spindle, the strut rod, this tie rod end sleeve, your center link, and your pitman arm, everything else is included. With the exception of the spindle, all of the other pieces are available separately if needed.
