Timbren SES Rear Suspension Enhancement System for 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 Ford F-150 Raptors.
Timbren's Rear Suspension Enhancement System (FR150RB) keeps your truck level at all times for a safer, more comfortable ride—loaded or unloaded. If you've noticed room for improvement in the handling and ride quality of your 2017-2020 F-150 Raptor, it's time for a Timbren SES upgrade.
Timbren's hollow rubber springs feature a progressive spring rate, meaning the more weight that presses down on the springs, the more they engage to prevent rear end sag. For instance, if you're transporting a heavy load in the bed of your truck or pulling a trailer, the hollow rubber springs automatically adjust to keep your F-150 Raptor level.
Features and Benefits:
- Eliminates Vehicle Squatting and Sagging
- Cushions Road Shocks
- Improves Handling
- Keeps Truck Level at All Times
- Smoother Ride Quality Loaded or Unloaded
- Replaces Jounce Stop on Frame
- Laser-Cut, Precision-Bent Steel in a Powder-Coated Finish
In keeping your rig level, the Rear Suspension Enhancement System is also delivering a safer driving experience. When a heavy load makes the rear of your truck squat, it simultaneously lifts the front, reducing traction on the front tires. The SES upgrade solves this problem by leveling the vehicle and restoring traction to the front tires. This improves overall steering and prevents your headlights from shining too high, into the eyes of oncoming traffic.
Increased stability is another rewarding payoff of an SES upgrade. Heavy loads can ultimately make your truck top-heavy, resulting in body roll and sway. Timbren stabilizes the load, eliminating suspension sag while reducing body roll and sway. You can also expect a smoother ride quality since your 2017-2020 Raptor is less likely to bottom out with this upgrade.
The Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System is rated at 2400 lbs capacity. Although the upgrade increases spring rate, it doesn't increase the GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating). Please make sure that the load does not exceed the GVWR set by the manufacturer.
Tech Tip: There should be a ½” to 1 ½” gap between rubber spring and axle to ensure unloaded ride quality.
Please Note: Please make sure that the load does not exceed the GVWR set by the manufacturer.
