It's going to fit in the standard 2 inch receiver that you're going to use for the hitch in the back of your truck and it serves two purposes. The first purpose is as a bumper. When you're installing the hitch it's going to protect your rear bumper in case of a collision. The other benefit is that it actually works as a step. Once in your receiver you use it as a step to get up into your bed. It's made of a heavy duty resin and it will support 300 pounds.
