Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks good works fine This part was a great swap for my old worn out one. It fit perfectly and functions properly (unlike my old one).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Quality control issue So ordered this for my wife's car shipping was great packaging was fine and then I went to install the part and low and behold the holes are not drilled in the proper location. I will add some photos to compare when I get home. As far as part quality it seems to be fine but the quality control is garbage.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wrong part It's unfortunate when there is a miscommunication when ordering parts online. Sometimes nobody's fault but return time and cost is not worth the value of the part.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works like a charm Good product. You might mention in your ad that you have to thread your own screw holes.

Product Questions

Do you sell a vacuum advance unit that accepts the original screwed in metal vacuum line? It seems that all of the units you sell for the 289 V8 have push on attachments for the vacuum lines. I'm trying to maintain the original appearance of my vehicle.

This depends on what type of carb you have. My Holley has a fitting for the rubber hose connection

Hello I am looking for the vacuum advance for a 1965 289 that takes the steel line and fitting not the rubber hose. do you have one?

Asked by: Meteor66

The pic shows threaded holes but a review below says that it doesnt have them and you have to tap your own. Which is it?
