Product Description

Dynacorn Battery Tray with Hold Down Clamp Holes for 1967-1970 Mustangs and for all 1965-1966 Mustangs.

In 1967, Ford switched over to a stronger cross-over-clamp design to secure the battery. This battery tray fits like the original 1965-1966 unit, but utilizes the stronger 1967 hold down clamps. Dynacorn's battery tray is constructed from high-quality stamped steel and is a direct bolt-in replacement.

*Use with battery hold down clamp kit (BTC3K) or Dynacorn's hold down clamp (M3537) and j-bolts (M3537A).

Dynacorn Battery Tray With 1967-1970 Hold Down Clamp Holes 1965-1966 is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from shorter than original tray I bought this to replace my original tray because I couldn't find a battery for my 65 Mustang that had the little lip on the bottom of it. Therefore the battery was riding loose in the tray. Not a good idea. The hardest part of installing the tray was getting the 2 bolts out of the old tray that were just above the bumper bracket. Original bolts were to short for the new tray. Almost need 2 people to get the tray lined up with the bolt holes. Had to drill 2 new holes to fasten the back of the tray down. Everything fit well after the battery was put in. Not original looking but works well to keep the battery in place.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice try The part didn't come close to fitting. I had to heavily modify it and even then I could only get 3 of the 4 bolts to line up. It is a good idea but poorly executed.
