Product Description

Firewall Insulation for all 1967-1968 Mustangs.

If you're searching for an easy but still effective way to reduce the amount of heat and noise that comes in through the firewall on your 1967-1968 Mustang, then you should definitely take a closer look at this Firewall Insulation from CJ Pony Parts. It's made specifically for this purpose!

This Firewall Insulation helps lower the amount of heat and road and engine noise that transfers into your Mustang's interior from the engine bay by covering and insulating the firewall. It features perforated cut-outs for the parts that get mounted through the firewall and installs with the included clips behind and underneath the dash. You'll love how nice, quiet and comfortable your ride is after you're done installing this new Firewall Insulation!

As you restore or upgrade the interior of your Mustang, make sure you invest in some underlayment or insulation to place underneath the carpet. While it might add a bit more work, the benefits in sound deadening and temperature control strongly outweigh the small costs. CJ Pony Parts offers plenty of Mustang underlayment and insulation options to choose from.

Firewall Insulation 1967-1968 is rated 1.8 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not fit a '67 Every other product I've bought from CJ's has been fantastic. However, in attempting to install this firewall insulation on my '67 coupe I discovered it does not fit properly. As another reviewer states, it is too small. Several of the perforations have incorrect placement as well (e.g. fuse box), in addition to the clip fasteners not being perforated. Initially I thought it would just be a very tight fit and would require a bit of stretching, but it's short by at least 4".

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not fit - do not buy. You were warned ;-} This was on sale cheap. Due to the other reviews I called CJ and they assured me they had used it on their own builds. So I ordered in the face of the reviews and of course it was a mistake. 67 Coupe.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It was too small. It was too narrow to stretch across the firewall. The only way to make it fit would be to cut it down the center and leave a 3 inch gap in the middle so that the holes would line up for the heater motor, clutch, speedometer, etc.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from useless Totally wrong for a '67. Not long enough, and none let me repeat.. NONE of the holes match up.
