Rated 4 out of 5 by ARTISTIC AUTO from FLOOR PAN KIT OVERALL GOOD. NO HOLE PLUGS FOR FLOOR SUPPORTS. TOE BOARDS REQUIRE QUITE A BIT OF MODIFICATION FOR THE 1968 WORKED GOOD IN A 1965. FLOOR PANS FIT VERY GOOD. SEAT PLATFORMS LEAVE ALITTLE TO BE DESIRED BUT WORK WITH A 3 # HAMMER.

Is it possible, to replace these floorpans without building a jig? I don't have space, or a lift, but i can put it on floorjacks... I was intending on only cutting out one side at a time as well, hoping that it would reduce twisting. Thoughts?
If you replace one side at a time and use some bracing you will not need a jig.

how did you weld the two big pieces to the middle section
I just looked at your question and the picture again, don't take this the wrong way, but panel for the drive line hump is not shown in the picture and that is what the two halves are welded to.
