You also sell the "Steeda Reverse Lock-Out Collar Delrin". Will this collar work or will I have to modify this collar like I would have to modify the barton shift boot retainer?
I'm having an issue with clearance on the stock reverse lockout and the Steeda Tri-ax lever. Is there anything I can do to make it fit, other than backing the knob off 5 or 6 threads and using loctite?
Will this work with a MGW race spec shifter?
Is it ok to use it with Barton Industries Short Throw Shifter GT 2015-2017 (the short shifter works with stock knob ok, so I suppose one may use this GT350 knob instead)?
Why will this not fit the 2014 GT? It's listed as the same thread pitch.

We take the original Ford GT350 knob and we drill out and tap it for the correct 12 by 1 1/4" used on your GT, V6 or EcoBoost. To install it, all you'll want to do is remove this ring as the lock out is a slightly different size. Just remove that, unthread your factory knob, and thread this in place. Installation couldn't be easier. Grab your factory knob. Rotate it counter-clockwise. Now what you'll want to do is get a bit of Loctite. Put it on the threads. I recommend the blue as you'll have some chance of getting it off in the future where the red would be pretty much almost permanent unless you use a large wrench. Now we'll thread on your new knob. You can see the threads are now exactly the same as the original. I should mention here you remove that ring before you threaded this on. That will allow you to clear the factory lockout. In the case of our car, we actually have the Barton billet lockout which is a little bit thicker. This will not clear the billet unless you actually grind this down a little bit for clearance. If you run the stock lockout though, no problems at all, it will thread right on.
What you'll want to do is thread it until it stops. Until it bottoms out. You might get lucky, it might be perfectly straight put it's probably not going to be. Once you get there, just turn it back until it's straight. Let it set up for about an hour or so with the Loctite, and the installation's finished.
