Product Description

Headliner for all 1965, 1966, 1967 and 1968 Coupe Mustangs.

Make the interior of your classic Mustang look as gorgeous as the exterior with a new headliner. This headliner has the factory correct grain that you would see from an original Mustang coupe. This headliner fits all 1965, 1966, 1967 and 1968 coupe Mustangs. The front and back glass must be removed when installing this new headliner. These headliners come in all original colors, allowing you to get the right color shade that you need for that factory correct build.

Please Note: White is not bright white, it is an egg shell color off white like original.

The Mustang headliner in your classic Mustang, especially if it is still somehow the original, is probably sagging after all of these years. If that's the case, and you'd like to restore the Mustang headliner back to the original condition, you can replace that old Mustang headliner with new parts from CJ Pony Parts. CJ Pony Parts offers everything needed to get your headliner installed in your classic 1965-1968 Mustang coupe.

Great Price/Great Fit (65 Coupe)
We laid the headliner out in the sun for about an hour, put in the rods, placed in the car. Three of the rods are the same and one is a little different. The odd one goes towards the back of the car (don't forget the two rod retainers) . We used 3M spray adhesive (available at any hardware store) and sprayed three coats on headliner and car where they would contact each other. Once the glue set after a couple of minutes, we pulled the headliner tight and held it in place with 180 ea 1-1/4" "binder clips". After that, the excess was carefully trimmed away with a razor blade. Great fit and plenty of extra material to grab ahold of when stretching. The pattern of the headliner is very close to original as well.

By Bill Tumas: We're here with a replacement headliner for your '64 through 1970 Mustang coupe. The headliner comes in the original-style crater vinyl material. It's cut out for your sail panels. It has the stitched-in liners for your headliner rods already installed. To properly install your headliner, you're going to remove your windshield and also your rear window. We do suggest doing it on a warm day or heating up the vinyl in advance, making it pliable and much easier to install.
