I own a 1965 Fastback with a 289 engine dual exhaust but it is not a GT. I am currently replacing my mufflers and would like to know which exhaust tip would be the best fit for my car?
What is the pipe diameter (1.5+, 1.75+, 2.0+ etc) where it would slide over/attach to the rest of the exhaust system? Thanks

Scott Drake: The '65-'66 GT exhaust tips are for our concourse customers. These are the best quality ones that we make. They feature 304 stainless steel, black painted pipes. The bell and the bezel are 304 stainless steel, so it will never rust. The back pipe is high temp paint. I want to focus on just the high level of polishing here, no dents, no scratches, the way that the bezel fits the outer cone, no spacing. I've seen these with other reproductions. They have a half-inch space here. There's dents all over here. The depth of this stamping is just like the original. The louvers are right on the money, just like the original. Really a beautiful part. I'm real proud of this part. Ask for Drake by name, and this is what you're going to get.
