Steering Column Tube Bearing 1967-1972 is rated out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wargoe 427 from Application range may be incorrect Based on the caption that it's for '68 to '72 fixed columns, I ordered this item but then I couldn't find a place to use it on my '69 column. I had one column I was restoring and looked at two others and none of the three showed any evidence of ever utilizing this bearing. It's great part and I had no problem with that. It just doesn't seem to apply to my '69 Mustang with a non-tilt steering column. I have a blow-up of the parts and there is no lower roller bearing shown. I've attached that picture. I gave it a low value rating because it is not applicable to the range shown on the website.

Rated 1 out of 5 by MikeG69 from Does not fit I am rebuilding the fixed non-tilt steering column in my 69 Mustang Coupe & purchased this upper steering column bearing & it does not fit, it is too big.

Is this bearing the one at the bottom of the shift tube?
I have rebuilt two 69 March I's and they both had a plastic (sloppy fit) bushing at the end of the inner tube and a soft foam rubber seal between the two tubes. I think this is to give some tolerance for the rage joint fit??
