Does the pigtail tail light body utilize the standard tail light bulb? The picture does not show the typical bulb socket that you insert and turn the bulb.
Yes, it utilizes the standard bulb, CJ part # BULB1157.

I purchased two pigtail type (TLBB) tail light bodies as well as an AMP Taillight Wiring Harness Coupe/Convertible 1965-1966 (64-TL-C) from your company. Does it matter which way the tail light body wires get plugged into the new harness? Polarity issues?
Follow our installation instructions, which are linked from the product description on the wiring harness' page. That'll give you the best idea on how to install it (and includes photos!).

By Bill Tumas: We’re here with a replacement taillight body for your 1964 through 1966 Mustang. This is a direct replacement body known as the pigtail style due to the wiring coming out of the back here. It has the studs already mounted to thread the body into the Mustang taillight panel and it's pre-drilled and threaded to mount your taillight bezels and lenses. Here you can see a comparison between the pigtail style and the plug style. If you're using an aftermarket wiring harness, you want to make sure you order the pigtail. If not, you'll want to check your Mustang first to see what style you'd need. The taillight bodies are sold individually, but they're also available in complete kits.
