1968 Ford Mustang H-Pipes

Your 1968 Mustang benefits from a free-flowing exhaust that can reduce backpressure. By connecting both sides of your dual-exhaust system, the gasses can flow between the sides. This design, called an H-pipe, delivers increased power and the low rumbling idle that we all know and love from a well-tuned muscle car.

A Muscle-Car Sound

Though x-pipes are freer flowing, many prefer h-pipes. That's partially because they do a better job of providing low-end torque, but many also prefer the sound. The h-pipe's sound is associated with old-school muscle cars, and the deep rumble is sure to be appreciated by many.

If you're looking to redo your entire exhaust system, you should check out the kits we have available. Some H-pipes are custom fit for specific systems, and getting everything at once is a good way to make sure your exhaust pieces all work well together. The synergy can help improve your performance even more.

With the right exhaust, you'll have a customized sound and performance. And a big part of finding the right exhaust is selecting a mid-pipe that's perfect for you.
