Up until now, only a few knobs would work with this lockout, but thanks to this adapter, we'll be able here at CJPonyParts.com, we're now taking it from a few options to a few hundred.
This threaded adapter is going to be available in a natural aluminum shown here, or also in a black finish. It's going thread on over the lockout. The lockout's going to slide into this underneath. Once this is threaded in place, many of our shift knobs can then thread to the top, giving your interior a nice, custom look.
The beauty of this adapter is it's going to fit over the factory lockout of your 20 15 Mustang, or your Focus of Fiesta ST, then it's going to allow you to use any of our 20 11 through 20 14 shift balls, giving you hundreds of different options.

You're going to start the install by putting the car into reverse. Once we have it there, turn the factory knob counterclockwise. When you remove it, be careful of the spring, make sure the spring stays. The cup part of the adapter is going to go down over the lockout. What you'll want to do, basically thread it down to the bottom, and then go a half a turn up. Now, grab your choice of shift knob. Basically, hold that, turn this against it, and get it nice and straight. What you'll want to do, is make sure it goes into every gear, which these won't be a problem. Double check reverse lockout works. Your installation's finished.
You can't go wrong with a classic running horse and a six-speed pattern for your 20 15 Mustang. The install's going to basically be exactly the same. Grab the factory knob, put it in reverse, turn it counterclockwise. Again, the deep cup goes down over the lockout. Thread it to the bottom and one half turn out. Grab our shift knob, lined up, tighten it out. Your installation's finished.
