Vehicle Fitment

This product will fit the following Mustang years:

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Brackets did not fit I purchased these caliper mounting brackets to do a disc conversion on my 67 Mustang which is a factory drum setup they bolt to the spindle but none of the factory rotors or calipers match this aftermarket bracket if you have a 64 through 68 Mustang and are trying to do a conversion I do not recommend purchasing these brackets luckily for me I had a 68 cougar parts car that has a factory disc setup upon taking the parts I needed I seen that the spindles for a disc car are completely different than a drum brake car people on other forms and they are the same they are wrong I will add some pictures to show you completely different

Will these brackets bolt to a 65 V8 drum spindle? I have 2 calipers but I don't have the brackets... thanks in advance!

Asked by: MitchMustang
Mitchmustang they will work as ford used the same spindle for drum and disc brake mustangs.  I've done the conversion myself. And done months of research.   jist use all 65-67 mustang disc brake parts.

So if this is not designed to be put on a drum spindle in order to convert it to a disc spindle do you sell a disc spindle that would fit a 1964.5, 260 because like the previous customer I too already have the rotors and calipers. Thanks, Jaime

These should fit ford was good at using the same spindles for v8 drum and disc.   Miss information on their part.
