Baer Brakes Bumpsteer Kit for 1970, 1971, 1972 and 1973 Mustangs.
Lowering your Mustang or altering its caster and camber can result in hazardous driving conditions, referred to as bumpsteer. Fortunately, this Bumpsteer Kit (3261003) from Baer optimizes the steering geometry in your 1970-1973 Mustang, while also eliminating bumpsteer. With this solution, you don't have to worry about your Mustang darting in unexpected directions during hard braking, cornering or simply traveling over road-surface irregularities.
Features and Benefits:
- Hardened Chrome-Moly Pins
- Teflon-Lined Chrome-Moly Spherical Bearings
- Aluminum Sleeves
- Eradicates Bumpsteer
By allowing compensation for ride height and suspension geometry changes, the pin-height-adjustable tie rods allow a more optimal range of articulation between the tie rod and the steering arm. Adjusting the tie rod height is as easy as moving the steel spacers from top to bottom on either side of the spherical bearings.
Kit Includes:
- Pair of Tapered Pins
- Shim Set
- Pair of Teflon-Lined Heims
- Nylock, Lock Nuts for Pin End and Jam Nuts as Needed per Application
