Baer Brakes Rear Brake System with Black Calipers/ 13” Rotors/ Parking Brake Mustang 5-Lug 1979-1984

From seals that lock out dust and the elements to noise suppressing springs, this rear brake system’s calipers are tough (4262292B). Baer Brakes crafted this system as a seamless fit for 1979-1984 Mustangs with a 5-bolt pattern. It uses black powder-coated calipers that are reinforced with six cross bolts and comprised of six staggered pistons. They make the calipers not only stronger but less susceptible to wear over time. A highly versatile fit, you can use any 13” or 14” rotor with them.

As for the system’s own rotors, it uses ones that are preassembled into a two-piece design. Each one has a drilled and slotted surface, offering excellent heat regulation and dissipation at the same time. Robust as well, they’re zinc-plated and have 6061 T-6 aluminum hats bolted on. Meanwhile, the parking brake assembly is housed in the machined, billet backing plate. The rest of the system consists of D0731 pads, stainless steel brake hoses, and banjo-style fittings.
