The brake pedal bumper is a part you may not even realize you're missing, but it can definitely effect how your brake pedal operates on your 65 through 66 Mustang. This is going to mount on your brake pedal support. It stops the brake pedal from hitting the support during heavy braking. Not having the brake pedal bumper in place can cause alignment issues with the push rod, it can also cause the pedal to bottom out making all kinds of noise.
These brake pedal bumpers will work with manual or automatic transmissions.
