Centerforce Clutches offers a Light Metal 11” Clutch Pressure Plate and Single Disc Set to completely overhaul the performance of your 2005-2010 GT Mustang’s manual transmission. The Light Metal Clutch (LMC) Series is a specifically designed low inertia performance clutch that reduces engine rotating mass. Each clutch is SFI approved for competitions and is designed with most road racing and circle track applications in mind. Centerforce machines their pressure plates from high-strength aircraft-grade billet aluminum to keep the weight as low as possible without scarifying rigidity. After machining the pressure plate, Centerforce attaches a special heat-treated replaceable friction surface.

The Centerforce LMC series friction disc utilizes a dual-segmented carbon composite lining for improved cooling and excellent torque capacity. The LMC assemblies from Centerforce use their patented 'Ball Bearing' actuated diaphragm and centrifugal weight system for maximum grip when engaged. These systems also maintain a comfortable and controllable clutch pedal in between shifts for a smoother driving experience.
