Cervini Hood Kit M1 Fiberglass Unpainted Mustang GT 2005-2009

Are you interested in achieving the look of the Classic 1969-1970 Mach 1 Mustang, but for your modern 2005-2009 GT? If so, you might consider this M1 Fiberglass Hood Kit (8020) from Cervini. This unpainted fiberglass hood kit mimics the styling of the hood found on a 1969-1970 Mach 1 Fastback Mustang. Cervini includes five high-quality fiberglass parts that install using the same mounting brackets as the original components from Ford.

With this hood being identical to the vintage hood found on the early model Mach 1, Cervini transfers the lines to the S197 platform. In the middle of the hood Cervini raises the center of the hood to flow into the M1 Hood Scoop. The hood scoop is identical to the original hood scoop on the classic Mach 1 but the only difference is that it doesn’t have the integrated turn signals. Since the hood is longer than the original hood the correct headlight and grille extensions are included with this kit.

The M1 Cervini Hood features a finished underside liner that adds extra strength and can be painted the same color as the exterior of your 2005-2009 Mustang. The hood bolts on using OEM hood hinges, latch and hardware. Cervini relocates the hood squitter on the underside of the hood this gives the exterior of the hood a custom look.

Tech Tip: This kit is designed to work with the GT grille and GT bumper. It can be used on a V6 Mustang that has upgraded to a GT grille and GT compatible bumper cover.
