CJ Classics Center Console Assembly for 1965-1966 Coupe and Fastback Mustangs with a Manual Transmission but without Air Conditioning.

CJ Classics has developed this center console as an upgrade for 1965-1966 coupe and fastback Mustangs that did not have a center console originally. This item can also be used as a factory-type replacement for Mustangs that did come with a center console originally. This is a premium quality piece that will only fit Mustangs with a manual transmission and without air conditioning.

No assembly is required for this center console assembly. This complete console assembly includes factory wiring to connect directly to the dash harness. All bulbs are already installed and connected to the wiring harness. A new shift boot is included to perfectly enclose the shifter in the new console. This is a fantastic-looking upgrade that will house the shifter while providing an ashtray and extra compartment for small item storage!

The console housing is constructed from black ABS plastic that is injection molded to OEM specifications. Features a perfect OE grain finish with high-quality chromed die-cast accents. The housing can even be painted to match your Mustang's interior.

Please Note: This console is a direct fit for coupes and fastbacks. However, the console will fit convertibles with slight trimming. Mold lines on the underside are marked where the console needs to be trimmed for convertibles. A console cutting template is also available to show you where to cut (DF389).

We’re here with a complete original stock console assembly fitting all 1964 through 1966 Mustangs. This is a quality reproduction of the original console found in 1964 through 1966 Mustang.

This particular model here is going to be for your manual transmission without air conditioning. There’s also an automatic without air conditioning as well as manual and automatic with air conditioning models. There’s the original style storage bin here, the correct camera case finish, the ashtray in the back the correct rear light. Looking underneath the console, you can see it comes completely prewired, ready to install. This console is designed to fit a Coupe or a Fastback.

If you want to use one of your convertible, they actually have a line right here. You simply trim that out and your console will fit your convertible. The black plastic finish can be dyed to match your interior if you’re not using a black interior. If you have any factory car with pony interior, you want the wood grain, we sell a separate kit that’ll give you all the wood grain inserts that’ll fit this console.
