This aftermarket CJ Classics Premium Quality Black Chassis Stiffening Kit comes with everything you’ll need to boost the performance, handling and driving comfort in your classic 1965-1966 Coupe or Fastback Mustang while also stiffening and strengthening the suspension system. With the help of a Curved Monte Carlo Bar, you can put a stop to the shock tower flex and maintain proper wheel alignment during hard cornering. Each high-quality component in this Chassis Stiffening Kit is made to improve, strengthen and support the frame of your First Generation Mustang.
The premium-quality Monte Carlo bar was originally developed by Carroll Shelby to support flex and alignment while preventing shock tower stress cracks. The curved design of the bar allows for extra clearance for an oval air cleaner and taller aftermarket distributors. Monte Carlo bars have a thicker diameter tube to improve the strength of fender brackets, and this black curved Monte Carlo bar is constructed with the stamped square holes in the top of each fender bracket to allow for the use of lower profile carriage bolts.

The high-quality reproduction export brace, constructed using Ford’s original design, is made with heavy-gauge steel and finished off with a black color scheme. This version is the best export brace on the market, successfully reducing the twisting of the chassis during hard acceleration while simultaneously strengthening your front end.
Tech Tip: Jacking up the car may help properly align the bolt holes on the shock tower for the export brace, making installation easier.
