This CJ Classics Power Brake Conversion Kit utilizes a new Bendix style power brake booster with increased brake sensitivity, and includes a large capacity dual chamber master cylinder. The dual-chamber master cylinder increases safety by supplying brake pressure to the front and rear brakes individually as opposed to a single chamber that supply’s pressure to the front and rear brake at the same time. With a dual-chamber, if you lose your front brakes you can still come to a stop because your rear brakes will still be functional and vice versa. The pushrod on the power booster comes preset but is adjustable for the desired pedal height.

For easy installation, a mounting bracket has been specially designed for a direct bolt-in fit, while retaining the original brake pedal assembly and shock tower clearance. The bending of new lines from the master cylinder to the distribution block is the only necessary modification you will have to perform.

Please Note: This booster requires a minimum of 15 pounds of engine vacuum pressure at idle for maximum stopping power. Some high-performance high lift camshafts may not create enough vacuum. Stock engine vacuum pressure is 18 pounds.
