Do you need a new Passenger Side Outer Shock Tower Cover for your vintage 1965-1966 Mustang? This one-piece CJ Classics Passenger Side Outer shock tower cover 3630G is made of sturdy stamped steel and includes pre-drilled holes to make mounting it as simple as possible.
This CJ Classics part covers the top of the coil spring and bolts to the inner shock tower. This shock tower cover serves two important purposes: it acts like a spring retainer in case of a failure and it provides a mounting point for the shock tower bumper. It'll fit much better than a standard reproduction outer shock tower cover since it's made of stronger steel.

You can immediately see a difference in the way the two pieces are made. The Dynacorn piece is one piece stamped steel. Your standard reproduction has been cut and wielded together. You can also see in this section here how uneven that's cut; you may have some clearance issues with your coil spring. Dynacorn also includes your shock tower bumper, where your standard reproduction does not.
Here we have 1965 Mustang being restored by CJ Pony Service. See the holes where the tower cover's going to mount right here. Here we have our typical reproduction. You can see even when the holes are lined up on the top, the sides aren't even close, same issue over here. Not only that the cover is actually hitting our coil spring.
Now this is our Dynacorn Shock Tower Cover. You can see how the holes line up much better. Everything is viewable, you still may have to open it up just slightly if you've had the apron replaced or the tower's been replaced. See the overall fit is much better, plenty of clearance around the spring as well.
As you can see for only a couple of bucks more than your standard reproduction, you get a piece that not only fits well; it includes a shock tower bumper as well.
