Clutch Equalizer Bar with Frame Mount Bracket for all 1971, 1972 and 1973 V8 Mustangs with a Manual Transmission.
If your equalizer bar is damaged or worn out, replace your original bar with this factory-correct unit. The included equalizer bar frame bracket attaches to the driver side of the frame which holds the (Z Bar) Equalizer bar into place, allowing the bar to move freely.

This equalizer bar transmits the clutch pedal movement, through the pedal rod to the clutch fork. The equalizer bar runs between the V8 engine block and the driver side frame. The 4-speed clutch pedal and adjustable clutch fork rods attach to the bar as well as the clutch pedal return spring. This bar and frame bracket is painted in a dark gray finish.

Overtime these can wear out could cause issues getting your car into gear and getting the clutch to release properly. This is also the perfect part if you're doing an original style stick-shift conversion to your 71-73 Mustang.
The clutch equalizer bar with bracket is going to mount between your engine and the frame-rail and does not include mounting hardware.
