The key feature of the Alpha Cold Air Intakes improved design is the CNC-lathed aluminum velocity stack bellmouth. This bellmouth compresses the air that flows through the 4” DFlow dry air filter smoothly down to the 3” mandrel bent aluminum turbo inlet tube to reduce loss of energy. This helps to keep high airflow speeds through the inlet tube. The Alpha intake system comes in a satin black powder coat finish that will look great in the RS’s engine bay. The 3” inlet tube features a CNC-lathed port for the PCV system, a CNC-milled MAP bung and support brackets that are laser cut.

The Alpha intake air box is laser-cut and CNC-bent from 18-gauge stainless steel that provides a strong and durable design. The stainless steel design is more resistant to long-term corrosion and will remain cool even when the box itself heats up. The box will use both of the original fresh air ducts and will also suck up cool fresh air from your wheel well. This air box also features a clear, plexiglass window to help enclose your filter away from any heat as well as provide easy access to the filter for any maintenance. The air filter itself is a non-oiled DFlow filter that is 4" and specifically crafted by cp-e to provide the best free-flowing air flow your Focus RS can experience.
