This kit is highlighted by a pair of LED boards that will directly replace the original headlight daytime running lights on the driver and passenger side of your S550. Originally, the daytime running lights featured LED bars that were illuminated by a set of three circuit boards that held white LEDs. This kit replaces each one of those white chips with two RGBW 5050 LEDs and inlcludes a brand-new Bluetooth controller that's waterproof and shockproof.

Despite being drop-in replacements, these LEDs will produce a multi-color illumination upgrade, including a standard red, green and blue hue. There is an LED chip that is just specifically white to produce a more uniform, pure white color that is independent of the others. This will let you switch it back to white for everyday use on the road. These LEDs can be powered by your parking lights or a 12v power source. You'll also receive the inductive driver chip to safely and reliably power these lights. This driver is constant-current and waterproof for a durable and reliable performance.

To ensure long-term reliability, these LEDs are protected by a thermal management system. If the temperature of the lights becomes too high for some reason, the overall output of the LEDs will be cut back. The modern constant-current driver within this kit will also make sure there isn't any damage to these LEDS from the electrical system of your S550.

*Professional installation is STRONGLY recommended, as the factory headlights must be completely disassembled, opened and resealed in order to replace the LED panels.
*This LED Board Kit has only been tested to fit US-spec Mustangs. Will not fit Euro-spec Mustangs as advertised due to the lack of OE daytime runing lights from the factory.  

Tech Tip: It is recommended that you connect these LED boards to your parking light signals, as this will have your module light up when your Mustang's parking lights or headlights are turned on.
