The knob-controlled potentiometer lets you adjust the power assist however you like. The IDIDIT steering column also offers 8 different tilt positions. You won’t need to cut your OEM steering column either since it comes with a Ford-style signal switch and top shaft. As a bonus, it comes in a black powder-coated finish or a bare steel one that’s great for custom painting.

Additional Notes:
- The steering column is manufactured specifically to work with electric power steering in 1969 Mustangs.
- It is recommended that the factory power steering (if equipped) slave cylinder and control valve be disconnected from the power steering.
- Installation can be made easier some cutting, drilling, tapping, and wiring. The long steering shaft must be cut near the steering box to install the included steering shaft.
- P/N: MSA2 can be used to replace the power steering control valve while keeping the center link connected to the pitman arm.
- Electrical wiring is plug-and-play except for a required power source and ground. An upgraded electrical system is not required.
- All parts are located under the dash and almost completely visible; this greatly aids in the simple installation.
