Maximize your spark energy at any RPM with the help of this HEI distributor from FiTech, perfect for small and big-block Chevys (99017)! From a 5.8-amp dwell limit module to a 6061-T6 aluminum housing, this distributor is a powerhouse. It follows the standard GM 4-pin configuration with a centerless ground shaft that rides on an extra long lower bronze bushing. Because this bushing is coated in Oil-Lite, the intricate design rewards drivers with smooth operation at high RPMs.

Alongside the distributor is a mechanical advance, welded to the top of the shaft. This placement combined with its springs and stop bushings make it easy to adjust at any time. As for the assembly’s strength, it uses a cap and motor molded from 30%+ glass fiber reinforced polyester. Not only does this create high impact and dielectric strength, but it also allows resistance to carbon tracking. Plus, you get a vacuum advance canister that’s excellent for fuel economy and comes with a lockout plate.
