Motorcraft Inner Idler Pulley Smooth 4.6L Mustang 1996-2004

This smooth inner idler pulley by Motorcraft is a direct replacement for all 1996-2004 Mustangs with a 4.6L Engine. It provides the right amount of tension on the serpentine belt, this prevents slippage when driving. It gets installed on the passenger side of the timing chain cover and allows the backside of the serpentine belt to ride along the pulley. This lines it up with the pulleys on your 4.6L Engine. The pulley features a bearing that slips over a shaft on the timing chain cover and gets mounted with the original bolt.
