Ford Front Oxygen Sensor for all 5.0L Mustangs manufactured between 4/9/11 and the end of the 2014 Model Year.
If your Mustang GT built between 4/9/11 and the end of the 2014 Model Year check engine light has recently come on and you are experiencing a rough engine idle, or beginning to notice less than average MPG, you may need to replace your front oxygen sensor. This Ford Front Oxygen Sensor is an OEM direct replacement part for your faulty driver side or passenger side front oxygen sensor.
The oxygen sensor, or O2 sensor, is required to measure the amount of oxygen in the exhaust and deliver the information to your GT Mustang's computer. The computer then uses this information to adjust air-fuel ratios to keep your engine running smoothly and perform the way it should. A faulty oxygen sensor could prevent your 5.0L Mustang 5.0L from passing inspection.
This Ford Front Oxygen Sensor is a great part to pick up when you are replacing your factory H-pipe with a new high flow X-pipe or H-pipe.
*Sold individually. Two are required per 5.0L Mustang GT.
