This set of Hedman Long Tube Headers is designed for 1974-1979 Ford F-100s with a 429-460 FE engine and 2-wheel drive. They include a pair of headers and the required hardware to install on your truck for enhanced torque and horsepower!

In addition to the headers and hardware, this set (89140) also includes a 3-inch collector, 2-1/2 inch reducers, and gaskets. The headers are handmade in the USA with a standard duty mild steel construction and feature a 1-3/4 inch tubing diameter. This CNC mandrel-bent tubing allows your truck to breathe easier with a smooth-flowing design and excellent flow. They also feature an oval cylinder head port shape and will fit factory profile heads.

These Hedman headers fit 1974-1979 2WD trucks with a 429-460 FE engine. They are tested and assigned CARB E.O. number D167-27, making them 50-state legal on emissions-controlled 1974-1979 models without an A.I.R. system. They ship to you with a raw, uncoated finish, but will have a temporary black paint that burns off when exposed to normal operating temperatures.
