K&N designed their 69-Series Typhoon Performance Cold Air Intake System for 2002-2004 GT Mustangs to be a direct fit upgrade without the need for a specialized tune. Sporting a polished exterior finish, the 69-series is installed directly onto the factory throttle body without any modifications. Estimated Horsepower Gains sit around is 6.84 HP at 4600 RPM and 7.8 TQ at 4600 RPM when properly installed. A custom-designed heat shield prevents hot engine air from entering the cold air intake while in operation. Finally, this K&N intake is made in the USA and is legal in all 50 states.
