Power boosters use vacuum produced by your engine to assist in the application of force to the master cylinder. When you step on the pedal, a valve on the firewall side of the booster opens, allowing atmospheric pressure in. A hub assembly in the booster then transfers this force to the master cylinder increasing the braking power available and applied. This is an all new 9" Bendix type unit with a firewall bracket and push rod. This Bendix type replacement booster features an 8" diaphragm.

*The "tear drop" style push rod will not allow this to fit 1970 Mustang brake pedals.
