Mishimoto Stock Turbo Blanket Kit Titanium Focus RS 2016-2018

Normally, heat from the hot side of your turbocharger will bleed over to the cool side, reducing performance. To keep cool-side temperatures as low as possible, these Mishimoto Turbo Blankets utilize lava rock, titanium, silica, and more to insulate the hot side of your turbocharger.

These blankets are constructed with a volcanic lava rock and woven titanium fabric outer layer. The inner layer's high-silica fabric and stainless-steel mesh helps to trap heat for maximum performance. The inner layer can withstand 2,300°F (1,260°C) while the outer layer protects against temperatures over 1,760°F (960°C). These blankets are a direct-fit for the 2016-2016 Focus RS turbocharger.

Tech Tips:
- Always wear protective gloves when handling the turbo blankets. The product contains loose glass fibers that may irritate the skin.
- Mishimoto turbo blankets are constructed with fire retardant material. However, if the fabric is contaminated with a flammable liquid such as fuel and oil, a fire can start and propagate on the turbo blanket.
- Mishimoto turbo blankets are not designed to be removed and reinstalled multiple times. They will become rigid and brittle after several heat cycles due to the material's thermal properties.
- Ensure that the turbo blanket and fastening parts do not interfere with moving components on and near the turbo during installation.
