Coilover Kits

The term coilover comes from the name “coil-over shock absorber.” Mustang coilover kits allow you to replace both your strut and coil spring. For performance-oriented Mustangs, coilovers remain one of the most popular suspension modifications.

There are a lot of reasons that Mustang coilover kits are superior to the stock parts they replace. One of the most important features for drivers is the wide range of adjustability coilovers offer.

Like lowering springs, Mustang coilover kits can be used to adjust your ride height. This allows you to lower your Mustang’s center of gravity, which improves handling around tight corners. Unlike lowering springs, Mustang coilovers also allow you to adjust how stiff or soft your suspension is.

High-quality Mustang coilover kits offer improved handling, adjustability, and reliability. While off-brand Mustang coilovers can fail, leaving you in a ditch, good coilovers will last for years to come.

If you plan to use your coilovers to lower your Mustang, be sure to also select a good set of caster camber plates. They'll allow you to reset your alignment. Since everyone’s going to be staring at your stance anyway, now would also be a good time to check out a new set of Mustang wheels.
